Fujoshi O'Clock (11/2/12)
What time is it? It's . . . Fujoshi O'Clock, the biweekly feature at Nagareboshi Review, when I bring to you the latest fujoshi-related news and reviews and various shiny BL-flavored things. Why? Because rotten girls need love too!
This week on Fujoshi O'Clock:
- Ogiue Maniax's Fujoshi Files continues with file number 57: Sazanka Bianca from Aquarion EVOL, who looks absolutely adorable.
- Daniella at All About Manga shares her bounty of purchases from Yaoi-Con, which naturally includes a lot of yaoi.
- Anime News Network posts about eight alternate couples sure to touch your heart, including a number of m/m anime and manga couples.
- Also from Yaoi-Con 2012: DMP has licensed more yaoi manga, including a new Venio Tachibana title and some college relationship BL titles.
- ANN: Shodensha's onBLUE boys' love manga anthology is now serializing Tomoko Yamashita's latest title, Snip, Snail & Dog Tails. It is told in the form of a diary. Jmanga and Netcomics have released previous titles by Yamashita in English.
Reviews:
- GAR GAR Stegosaurus reviews Flutter by Momoko Tenzen, a salarymen BL manga, and finds themselves enjoying it despite some troublesome trope usage.
- Connie at Slightly Biased Manga reviews Dry Heat by Yugi Yamada, in which there are lots of relationships to unfold and some of them are questionable at best.
- Melinda and Michelle at Manga Bookshelf post their BL Bookshelf column, including reviews of Bonds of Dreams, Bonds of Love and the latest est em title in English, ULTRAS.
Am I missing your blog? Got some awesome fujoshi-related news and reviews you think deserve a shout-out? Poke me with a link and a bit of description over at my Twitter: @theseventhl. I'm always on the look out for more BL love!
