What time is it? It's . . . Fujoshi O'Clock, the new weekly feature at Nagareboshi Review, when I bring to you the latest fujoshi-related news and reviews and various shiny BL-flavored things. Why? Because rotten girls need love too!
This week on Fujoshi O'Clock:
- ANN: BL manga "Awkward Silence" returns to Libre's Be x Boy magazine in the January issue; the website for Be x Boy is hosting a free preview of the manga.
- ANN: Shizuku Hanabira's manga series "Ringo no Kaori" is now slated to end in the February issue of Be x Boy. Viz Media's BL imprint is slated to give the series a digital release sometime next year.
- Kuriousity: Digital Manga Publishing has apparently shifted their license of the Starry Sky manga from the BL line to the DMP line, a sign that the manga is not to be marketed as a boys' love friendly work as previously thought.
Reviews:
- ふ う子 at Hazukashii Kedo reviews the Dame BL Anthology which includes some risque R-18 material, of course.
- Connie at Slightly Biased Manga reviews volumes three and four of the Finder series by Ayano Yamane; she also reviews the second volume of In The Walnut by Toko Kawai and loves the fact that it's a manga about art.
- Manic About Manga reviews Yakuza Cafe by Shinano Oumi and appreciates its cheesy goodness.
Am I missing your blog? Got some awesome fujoshi-related news and reviews you think deserve a shout-out? Poke me with a link and a bit of description over at my Twitter: @theseventhl. I'm always on the lookout for more BL love!
